Job Overview:

The Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering positive relationships with the Labour Union, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, resolving grievances, and proactively addressing potential industrial relations issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a strong relationship with the Labour Union, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for collective bargaining, wage settlements, and union negotiations, resulting in favorable outcomes.
  3. Ensure timely and efficient resolution of grievances, addressing potential IR issues through proactive measures.
  4. Establish and maintain liaison with labor authorities, government bodies, and legal consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Lead disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and ensure legally compliant proceedings, upholding organizational standards.
  6. Provide hands-on experience in Statutory Compliance and stakeholder management, driving business growth and success.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proven experience in collective bargaining, union negotiations, and grievance resolution.
  • Knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and best practices in industrial relations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
