Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SCADA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

  • Lead the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications.
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain secure data exchange using REST APIs and MQTT protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADAs, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
