About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Localization Project Manager to join our team at IQVIA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the full lifecycle of translation and localization projects, ensuring that IQVIA's standards are consistently met.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple translation and localization projects simultaneously from receipt to completion, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.
  • Liaise with clients to assess and agree project parameters and requirements, building strong relationships and communicating effectively.
  • Select appropriate vendors and negotiate deadlines effectively, based on the project scope and client needs.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with freelance and in-house linguists globally, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor and manage the status of assigned projects, anticipating and preventing issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Accurately complete project finances, including quoting and budgeting, to meet client expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and information, adhering to IQVIA's Quality Management System.
  • Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs, upholding industry standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance of linguistic assets, including glossaries and style guides, to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Evaluate project quality through QA checks, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working in Project Management within the Language Services industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a linguistic, business, or scientific field.
  • Fluency in English is essential; an additional language would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities and changing demands.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically.
  • Proven ability to work independently, using your own initiative while following instructions.
  • Demonstrated advanced IT skills, with experience working with TMS and CAT tools (XTRF and/or memoQ would be highly advantageous).
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
