Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Lead the monthly/quarterly financial closing and reporting process.
  • Perform account reconciliations with a high volume of financial transactions and data.
  • Work closely with external auditors for statutory reporting and audit/tax compliance.
  • Own all financial books and records, ensuring timely and accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Collaborate with the plant head and VP of Operations to understand upcoming purchases and create cash flow projections.
  • Reconcile inventory positions to help understand cost of goods sold.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, insurance providers, banks, and other vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Implement continuous process improvements to enhance reporting and efficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) and working with large/complex data sets.
  • Filing GST/PT/TDS returns.
  • Handle payroll, provide inputs, and ensure timely payroll disbursement.
  • Assist in the monthly close process for team's cost accounting tasks, including reconciliation of inventory and calculation of invoicing.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure consistent application of cost accounting principles on the manufacturing site.
  • Lead the strategic direction for Cost Accounting.
  • Develop new processes to drive productivity in the cost accounting function and drive continuous improvement.

    About You

    • You will have 3+ years of accounting experience within the corporate/business sector.
    • You should have hands-on experience in AP and AR using Zoho Accounts Accounting.
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce is required.
    • You must have knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), US Accounting, and Taxation process.
    • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is desirable.
    • Being a CPA candidate or CPA enrolled is mandatory.
    • Good English communication skills are essential.

    Estimated Salary: ₹25 lakhs - ₹35 lakhs per annum
