Senior Project Manager Role Overview

This is a Senior Project Manager role within a construction management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects from initiation through closeout, including budgeting and scheduling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading industry-changing projects that influence the future of work. This includes leveraging a national platform to focus on and lead projects that have a significant impact on the real estate marketplace.

The Senior Project Manager will contribute to a highly successful team known for their work quality, leading client initiatives, and driving success through the completion of complex projects. Success will be measured by the ability to manage scope and deliver projects on time and within budget with an emphasis on client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex projects from initiation through closeout, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Lead industry-changing projects that influence the future of work.
  • Contribute to a highly successful team known for their work quality, leading client initiatives, and driving success through the completion of complex projects.
  • Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes.
  • Evaluate project risks and prepare mitigation plans.
  • Ensure project delivery complies with Heath, Safety and Environmental requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is required. In addition, the ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant experience related to project or construction management, commercial construction project management experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling and Budget software, Clarizen and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate will also have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, clients representatives, and team members. Highy organized with strong analytical skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environment is also a must.
