Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and prepare billing data for submission, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
  • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness, working closely with patients to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Analyze and respond to claim denials and appeals, using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ongoing responsibilities include communicating effectively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless billing processes and performing administrative tasks as directed.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in handling insurance claims and working with Medicare, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of claim denials and appeal procedures, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
