Job Title: Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled quality assurance professional to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing and maintenance of software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product features and usage to provide inputs to estimation and develop an effective test strategy
  • Define and automate test cases, maintain automated test cases and execute
  • Understand customer usage and define the appropriate environment to mimic customer environment for testing
  • Propose and advocate automation technology concepts, influence improvements and plan for contingencies
  • Continuously learn and refine testing and automation strategy
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand features getting developed during sprint, usage and use cases and implement this knowledge in automating test cases
  • Engage in innovation/value addition in testing and automation and encourage team in this direction
  • Stay updated on testing and Automation industry trends

Requirements:

  • BE or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Proven practical experience of 5-8 years as QA Engineer
  • Able to automate test cases using JAVA/Selenium
  • Strong QA knowledge - design and execute tests according to specs, report bugs, QA methodologies etc
  • System wide perspective
  • Organized and precise with strong attention to details
  • In-depth knowledge in testing and Automation domains with database and LINUX operating systems knowledge
