About the Role

This Freelance Modeler Engineer opportunity allows you to work with top-notch developers while maintaining your current job.

As a member of our team, you will collaborate on cutting-edge projects and utilize your expertise in SAS and Python to drive results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, validate, and maintain statistical/predictive models using SAS and Python
  • Architect and execute SAS to Python migration strategies
  • Convert SAS macros and procedures into optimized Python equivalents
  • Define modeling standards, workflows, and performance monitoring frameworks
  • Mentor team members on Python adoption, coding practices, and analytics workflows
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • SAS Mastery:
  • Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL, macros
  • Python Expertise:
  • pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, PySpark (bonus)
  • Statistical Strength:
  • Regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, causal inference
  • Migration Experience:
  • Proven success leading large-scale SAS to Python transitions
  • Leadership:
  • Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver high-impact results
