Manufacturing Quality Engineer

This is a full-time role that involves ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process, conducting audits, and implementing quality management systems. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as quality assurance, engineering, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate should have experience in quality control and assurance, skills in quality engineering and management, proficiency in auditing procedures, strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality System Development and Maintenance: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including establishing and documenting procedures, work instructions, and standards aligned with industry certifications like ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
  • Quality Planning and Process Control: Play a central role in planning production, including interpreting engineering drawings, developing inspection plans, implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC), and conducting First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Lead investigations when defects occur, conduct root cause analysis, implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and manage non-conforming materials.
  • Inspection and Metrology: Inspect parts using manual tools, advanced equipment, and surface finish analysis to ensure quality and precision.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data, identify trends, and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
