We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to spearhead the application of advanced AI/ML in retail and e-commerce. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience designing, developing, and deploying next-generation AI systems driving business impact.

The role involves leading initiatives in agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), computer vision, and neural architectures, building autonomous pipelines that continuously learn and adapt for retail intelligence at scale.

Key responsibilities include guiding a team of data scientists, fostering innovation and best practices in AI/ML; exploring, designing, and deploying agentic AI architectures; experimenting with and operationalizing LLMs; advancing product recognition, OCR, embedding-based similarity, and visual transformers; architecting and deploying robust data pipelines handling large-scale retail/e-commerce datasets; and partnering with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to design AI solutions aligned with customer needs and revenue goals.

A successful candidate will possess strong programming skills in Python or C++, expertise in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), deep expertise in transformers, BERT-based architectures, and neural networks, hands-on experience in computer vision (CNNs, visual transformers, OCR, multimodal embeddings), demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading teams, and an advanced degree in Computer Science, ML/AI, or a related field.

As a senior data scientist, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions to drive business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in Data Science with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong programming skills in Python or C++
  • Expertise in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Deep expertise in transformers, BERT-based architectures, and neural networks
  • Hands-on experience in computer vision (CNNs, visual transformers, OCR, multimodal embeddings)
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading teams
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, ML/AI, or a related field

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
