As an Occupational Therapist, you will empower individuals to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity to work in community-based occupational therapy. Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing clients' functional abilities and developing tailored intervention plans.
- Delivering evidence-based therapy focused on sensory integration, daily living skills, and adaptive strategies.
- Recommending and implementing assistive technology to enhance client independence.
- Collaborating with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
- Educating clients and stakeholders on strategies to improve participation in daily activities.
- Documenting progress and outcomes, maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience in community-based occupational therapy, with strengths in sensory integration and assistive technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered approach.
- Willingness to relocate to Australia; comprehensive migration and registration support provided.
