Business Intelligence Data Analyst

As a senior business intelligence data analyst, you will play a key role in empowering leaders across the Life Sciences industries to make better data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for developing and managing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau.

You will analyze sales trends, market performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks. Your insights will support strategic decision-making for marketing campaigns, product launches, and portfolio management.

The successful candidate will have experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. They will possess strong SQL and data modeling capabilities, with experience in Python or R being a plus. A solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools.
  • Analyze sales trends, market performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making for marketing campaigns, product launches, and portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on BI initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills).
  • Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities; experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including knowledge of pharma market data sources.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
