Gasoline Engine Design Expert

Are you a skilled gasoline engine designer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance engines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop gasoline engines for various applications, including automotive, industrial, and off-road vehicles.
  • Use advanced CAD software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Creo, to create engine components, assemblies, and layouts.
  • Conduct thermal and fluid flow simulations to optimize engine cooling, combustion processes, and exhaust systems.
  • Lead engine testing to validate design specifications, including power output, fuel efficiency, emission levels, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the testing team to perform real-world and simulation-based tests.
  • Work closely with the environmental compliance team to ensure engine systems meet global emission standards.
  • Integrate various engine components, such as fuel systems, turbochargers, pistons, and camshafts, to improve overall engine performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot design flaws, engine failures, and performance issues, and develop solutions to improve engine reliability and durability.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all designs, analysis, test results, and modifications to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Work on designing cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and performance standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in gasoline engine design or related automotive engine development fields.
  • Proven experience with engine design, testing, and optimization.
  • Experience with CAE tools and simulation software for engine analysis, CFD, FEA, etc.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Creo.
  • Strong understanding of gasoline engine fundamentals, thermodynamics, combustion processes, and fuel systems.
  • Knowledge of materials selection and manufacturing processes for engine components.
  • Understanding of global emission regulations and performance standards.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
