Product Delivery Specialist

This role involves overseeing the management of multidisciplinary product delivery and program execution from inception to successful business realization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes a general manager's view to the program, assuming ownership across multiple functions and phases of the NPI process.

Business Case & Concept Development:

  • Drives focus on voice of customer, offering scope, and business case, influencing decisions in the initial phases.

Detailed Planning:

  • Translates business case/concept into engineering deliverables and implementation plan.
  • Performs estimation, balances technical risks/dependencies, and manages costs, resources, vendors, etc., during the detailed planning phase.

Execution & Delivery:

  • Uses line-management focus to drive right engineering results and achieve readiness for launch with high predictability and quality.

Risk Management:

  • Identifies and mitigates risks along with contingency and regular tracking.
  • Consults on people, technology, process, and tools to optimize project team efficiency.

Launch & Go-Live:

  • Oversees marketing communications, demand generation, revenue generation, and tracking.
  • Works with product management, business, and finance to measure outcomes against goals and critical targets.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software, electrical, mechanical life cycle models.
  • Exposure to cloud, IoT, data analytics, UI technologies, embedded firmware.
  • Control systems domain knowledge preferable.

Budget & Transformation:

  • Manages budgets and understands financial reports for informed decision-making.
  • Transforms organization to agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and standardizes practices with tools/dashboards/metrics.

Skills:

  • Vendor management: builds partnering relationships with 3rd party ODMs/OEMs.
  • Negotiation and stakeholder management: proficient in negotiation and influencing in a global setup.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in engineering or masters in math/science/computers.
  • 10-16 years experience, including 4-8 years in product program management.
  • Hands-on exposure to multi-disciplinary hardware, software, firmware, mechanical programs.
  • Experience in program execution with agile CI/CD.

Desired Certifications:

  • PMI-ACP/CSSM/PMP/IPMA/PRINCE certifications.
