Job Description: The Supervisor/Production role involves leading production teams to ensure quality standards and efficient manufacturing processes. This includes supervising, guiding, and training team members to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide production teams, providing direction, support, and resources for effective performance.
  • Production Planning: Collaborate with the production manager to develop schedules, allocate resources, and meet production goals.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement, implement efficiency measures, and enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production output to ensure products meet specifications and address any deviations promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory teams to manage raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory levels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure production activities adhere to safety regulations, protocols, and company policies.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor production performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to production teams on processes, safety guidelines, and quality control measures.
  • Problem-Solving: Address production challenges, issues, and deviations from planned schedules with effective solutions.
  • Reporting: Prepare production reports, analyze data, and communicate production status to management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in Mechanical or Any Postgraduate degree.
