Cyber Benchmarking Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Benchmarking Lead to drive our data-driven benchmarking initiatives across functions, processes, technologies, and industry peers. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and informed decision-making by identifying performance gaps and best practices through structured benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Benchmarking Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive benchmarking program that defines relevant metrics, selects appropriate methodologies, and establishes a process for comparison against industry standards, best practices, and peer organizations.
  • Performance Comparison: Analyze assessment results to identify areas of strength and weakness, providing actionable insights for strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Improvement Plans: Develop and implement strategies to improve cybersecurity maturity and resilience based on benchmarking findings, leveraging data to drive positive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Industry Trends Monitoring: Continuously monitor the evolving cybersecurity landscape, including new threats, technologies, and best practices, to ensure the benchmarking program remains relevant and effective.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in developing and implementing benchmarking programs, as well as a proven track record of driving innovation and improvement initiatives. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as is the ability to adapt to changing business needs and emerging threats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of overall experience, with at least 8-10 years in cyber benchmarking, undertaking cyber analysis/benchmarking of security-related processes and technologies.
  • Experience in working or managing a cybersecurity-related analysis of tech and products along with rating/grading of cybersecurity solutions.
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP, MBA (Technology Management) certification preferred.
