Financial Analyst

You will join a global asset management firm as a financial analyst, responsible for providing valuation and monitoring services to portfolio investments. Your role will span across different aspects of valuation, including initiating/maintaining financial models and preparing valuation memos.

  • Performing valuation on a range of (illiquid) investments across various industries
  • Preparing and updating valuation models, detailed memos, and presentations
  • Independently gathering data pertinent to the investments/models
  • Addressing client queries in a clear and concise manner
  • Prioritizing and executing multiple assignments, including ad-hoc projects, within tight deadlines

The ideal candidate should have sound experience in valuation and financial modelling, with exposure to US/European primary and secondary markets. Strong excel modelling and analytical skills are essential, along with a high level of attention to detail and ability to execute assignments under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.

Additional desirable skills include knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters, etc., hands-on experience on VBA macros, and sector knowledge - Real Estate, Shipping, Aircraft, and Oil & Gas.

Academic Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputed institution
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics & CFA (Level II completed)
