We are seeking a Product Safety and Technical Regulation Specialist to join our team. In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for defining and implementing product safety and technical regulation strategies for our business.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and bring value to project execution.
  • You will stay up-to-date on current developments concerning regulatory and normative requirements issued from government bodies and represent our business in different technical committees.
  • You will contribute to the analysis of technical regulations and standards and provide expertise and guidance to businesses on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement product safety and technical regulation strategies.
  • Plan and propose budgets for product safety and technical regulation activities.
  • Stay updated on current developments concerning regulatory and normative requirements.
  • Represent our business in different technical committees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Metallurgy engineering or related technical field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the power sector domain.
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance or direction.
  • Able to interface directly with different businesses.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to make quick, informed decisions on a regular basis.
