Senior Data Analyst - PhD

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced research and analytical skills to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive strategic business decisions.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Design and develop advanced statistical models to solve complex business challenges.
  • Research and Innovation: Conduct in-depth research and experimentation to innovate and improve data science methodologies.
  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Business) to integrate models into production systems.
  • Hypothesis Testing and Predictive Modeling: Perform hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and optimization to support strategic initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to real-world problems.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • SQL and Data Platforms: Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or similar).
  • Mathematical Background: Strong background in mathematics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.
