About the Role

The Payroll Specialist at Hike Education will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with statutory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll process.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage payroll operations using Keka HRMS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Maintain employee payroll records, including earnings, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  3. Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations related to payroll, including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other labor laws.
  4. Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  5. Generate payroll reports and analytics to provide insights for management.
  6. Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for accurate payroll processing.
  7. Process salary revisions, incentive payouts, and other compensation adjustments.
  8. Assist in payroll audits and compliance checks.
  9. Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and tax regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in payroll processing and HRMS operations, with hands-on expertise in Keka HRMS.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
