Job Title

IT Manager in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire IT infrastructure within a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant ensuring alignment with corporate IT standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide GxP-compliant support for manufacturing systems (MES, LIMS, SCADA) as well as ensure proper documentation and validation protocols are followed.
  • Act as primary point of contact for plant and quality assurance teams regarding all IT matters.
  • Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies providing necessary documentation and demonstrating compliance.
  • Manage local infrastructure including servers networks desktops printers and coordinate with central IT teams for enterprise-level support.
  • Implement monitor and maintain cybersecurity protocols in the plant environment.
  • Coordinate rollout of new IT systems upgrades and patches to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date and compliant with GxP regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors third-party service providers for support maintenance and training on plant systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience preferably 2 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11 and applicable industry standards.
  • Experience managing supporting or implementing systems like MES LIMS SCADA ERP in a GMP environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes system validation life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent problem-solving communication analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams manage projects and priorities effectively.
  • Audit readiness experience a significant plus.
