Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our supplier management function and drive operational efficiency. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement.

About The Role

  • You will oversee the entire lifecycle of supplier management, from due diligence and selection to price negotiation, contract management, performance monitoring, and renegotiations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Negotiate contracts and build strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Process Improvement
  • Implement robust systems and policies, including purchase order systems and supplier relationship software to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with procurement strategies and drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a high-performance procurement team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
  • Tracking Performance
  • Analyse procurement metrics and provide regular reports on savings and performance to inform business decisions.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record of developing procurement strategies that drive cost savings and value.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement best practices and methodologies.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
