Accounting Assistant Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our Finance team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally Prime, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily accounting operations, preparing and maintaining Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, and maintaining organized records of all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Perform daily accounting tasks, enter financial data accurately in Tally Prime, and prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) regularly.
  • Accounts Management: Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Principles: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Tally Prime Experience: Proficiency in Tally Prime software.
  • MS Office Skills: Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Previous Experience: 0–1 year of relevant experience in an accounting or finance support role.
