US Patent Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US patent drafting specialist to join our team of patent experts. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing patent drafting initiatives for technology companies and industry experts across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently carry out patent drafting assignments, ensuring alignment with clients' innovation strategies
  • Conduct inventor interviews, manage communication, and actively participate in calls to facilitate effective collaboration and alignment between stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with the team, providing guidance, reviewing work, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations in terms of quality and timelines
  • Stay abreast of evolving laws and regulatory changes, imparting knowledge to the team and ensuring compliance in all patent-related activities

Desired Skillset:

  • Proficiency in US patent drafting across a spectrum of technology domains
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion
  • Ability to quickly understand and grasp complex/cutting-edge technologies
  • Familiarity with patent processes and a keen understanding of laws and regulations
  • Experience in reviewing teams' work to ensure quality and timely project delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, and Computer Science
  • IP Experience: 3-5 years in patent drafting
