Asset Liability Management (ALM) Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Liability Manager to join our organization. This is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in banking and risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor liquidity and interest rate risk for the bank, highlighting concerns to management and providing insights with impact analysis.
  • Prepare, review, and validate regulatory returns, monitoring ratios against internal and regulatory limits, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and maintain daily liquidity and ALM dashboards to circulate to management.
  • Work on IT projects related to risk monitoring/management systems, enhancing current solutions through testing, and providing functional inputs in developing new solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market and regulatory developments, best practices pertaining to ALM/balance sheet, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate extensively with Treasury, Risk, IT, Finance, and Business teams to drive commercial savings and ensure compliance.
  • Adhere to RBI policies and guidelines, liaison with RBI Financial Audit, and maintain confidentiality of company information.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant banking experience with expertise in asset liability management.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
