Job Title: Operational Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced operational team lead to oversee and manage a team of customer service representatives in a fast-paced medical practice management setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Supervise, coach, and support clerical staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze phone productivity, call volumes, and response times to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Scheduling and Workforce Management: Oversee staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and efficiency.
  • Patient Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve patient complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Productivity Tracking and Evaluation: Track, evaluate, and report on staff productivity and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Process Improvement Collaboration: Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Clerical Staff Development: Provide training, feedback, and professional development opportunities for clerical staff.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with company standards, privacy laws, and healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a call center or medical practice management setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage remote clerical teams.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring productivity and performance metrics.
  • Conflict Resolution and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, particularly with patient concerns.
  • Organizational and Scheduling Tools Proficiency: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, proficiency in scheduling and workforce management tools.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Operations: Knowledge of healthcare operations, patient services, or medical office procedures preferred.
