Database Development Opportunity

 

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and implement high-performance database functionalities.

 

Primary Skills:

  • Extensive experience with MySQL Enterprise Versions, including upgrades and patch applications.
  • Hands-on experience in migrating from MySQL to MariaDB and vice versa.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting expertise in MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM).
  • Strong understanding of MySQL Enterprise backups and logical backups using mysqldump/mysqlpump.
  • Expertise in InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations and troubleshooting, as well as MySQL Enterprise Audit, Encryption, and keyring.
  • Knowledge of open-source HA tools like keepalived/tungstun.
  • Ability to collaborate with the team to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolve MySQL performance issues.
  • Extensive exposure to public cloud platforms, such as AWS/Azure, to provide solutions and troubleshoot issues.

 

Secondary Skills:

  • Knowledge of MariaDB and NoSQL databases is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of data management, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring.
  • Ensure that all database programs meet organization and performance requirements.
  • Experience in user management, space management, and shell scripting.
  • Ability to close coordinate and plan with Client and Project sub-teams.
  • Good communication skills to work with foreign clients.
