**Production Support Specialist Role**

Provide comprehensive production support for AS400 applications, ensuring minimal downtime through proactive incident resolution and root cause analysis.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in a timely manner, applying sustainable fixes and documenting resolutions as needed.

Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and vendors to ensure swift issue resolution and maintain stability during change deployments, patches, and upgrades.

Identify and propose process enhancements for production stability, leveraging 6-10 years of experience in AS400 production support or application support.

Key skills include strong RPGLE, ILE concepts, and SQL skills for debugging and issue analysis, as well as knowledge of incident/change/problem management processes (ITIL preferred).

As a production support specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our AS400 applications. Your ability to analyze and resolve complex issues will be essential in maintaining system stability and uptime.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong understanding of RPGLE, ILE concepts, and SQL skills
  • Experience with incident/change/problem management processes (ITIL preferred)
