WordPress Developer

As a skilled WordPress developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex websites using the custom WordPress engine. This involves working on themes, plugins, and internal tools to create seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced Gutenberg blocks using hooks, APIs, and custom theme logic.
  • Optimize database queries and code execution to ensure high performance.
  • Integrate with REST APIs and support complex integrations/microservices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to connect blocks/themes while owning the backend architecture.

Required Skills:

  • Deep expertise in PHP and the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing queries for performance.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns.
  • React experience, especially for Gutenberg block development.
  • Comfortable with Docker/Podman workflows and Linux environments.
  • A performance-minded developer with proficiency in profiling, measuring, and optimizing code execution.
  • Good command of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6).
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end developers.
  • Awareness of accessibility and Core Web Vitals best practices.
