US Property Accountant Role Overview

As a dedicated US Property Accountant, you will be responsible for utilizing Sage Intacct and Yardi to deliver accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong accounting skills and the ability to work with multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting processes for multiple clients using Sage Intacct and Yardi.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve queries and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Foster strong client relationships, focusing on those utilizing Sage Intacct and Yardi.
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  • Perform monthly and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled properly.
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) within a 60-day window from the end of the quarter.
  • Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and balanced.
  • Review transactions and processes, identifying discrepancies and ensuring financial records comply with U.S. GAAP.
Process & Technology:
  • Leverage Sage Intacct and Yardi to perform client accounting tasks, ensuring seamless integration of accounting and financial reporting.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving accounting processes and technology systems.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.

This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
