Expert Business Solutions Consultant

This role is an exciting chance to lead requirement gathering workshops, understand client business processes, and collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth translation of business needs into technical solutions.

• Perform gap analysis, draft BRD/FRS, and facilitate UAT sessions. Develop a deep understanding of the client's current systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining operations.
• Assess cost/benefit of changes to functionality requested by users. Evaluate the impact on the client's business, ensuring that proposed changes align with their goals and objectives.
• Ensure a sensible and well-documented change management system is used with Odoo 17. Implement a structured approach to managing change, minimizing disruption to the client's operations and ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes.
• Recommend process improvements using standard Odoo functionalities with a focus on minimizing customization. Identify opportunities to optimize the client's use of Odoo, suggesting innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create training documentation, user guides, and video tutorials to ensure client teams can effectively use delivered solutions. Develop clear, concise materials that enable clients to quickly grasp new concepts and put them into practice.
• Conduct end-user training, demos, go-live support, and handovers. Provide comprehensive support to clients as they implement new systems and processes, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal adoption.
• Travel to client sites (Europe/US) when required for on-ground process mapping and workshops. Engage with clients in person, building relationships and facilitating collaboration to drive business success.
• Take ownership of projects and ensure timely delivery. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Where functionality is problematic – problem solve and ensure swift resolution of issues. Collaborate with developers to resolve technical issues, applying creative problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.

• Minimum 6 years of Odoo functional consulting experience (Odoo 17 essential). Proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business growth through expert Odoo implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo core modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, MRP, HR). Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo developments, leveraging expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, communicating effectively to drive project success.
• Willingness to travel internationally (Europe/US). Be flexible and adaptable, willing to travel as needed to support clients and drive business growth.
• Self-driven, with the ability to take ownership of client projects. Demonstrate initiative and autonomy, taking ownership of projects and driving them forward with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge and experience in providing training manuals, SOPs and other documentation to instruct users of software. Develop high-quality materials that support client adoption and optimization of new systems and processes.
• 3+ years of project management experience. Apply project management principles and best practices to deliver successful projects and drive business growth.

• Odoo Certification (beneficial). Enhance your skills and expertise through certification, demonstrating commitment to excellence in Odoo implementation.
• Prior experience with European or US clients. Leverage experience working with international clients to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
• Experience with business process re-engineering. Apply expertise in re-engineering business processes to drive innovation and improvement.
• Industry knowledge in domains such as manufacturing, distribution, or services. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, leveraging expertise to drive business success.

• Monday to Friday: 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Work from home but with regular meetups with other local consultants working with us. Enjoy a flexible work schedule that balances remote work with collaborative teamwork.
