Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive customer satisfaction and company growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data pipelines, data consumption, data analysis, and documentation. They will also have experience with modern software development techniques, such as functional programming, microservice architecture, test-driven development, and CI/CD.

As a Senior Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading or significantly contributing to initiatives with strategic focus and value. You will also solve deep, complex technical problems, provide technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team, and support the Engineering Manager/Tech Lead in setting the technical direction.

Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe, designing high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our users, including vendor platforms. You will also write, test, and document code according to REA Engineering standards and practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Well-versed in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with data modeling
  • Experience with data pipelines
  • Experience with data consumption
  • Experience with data analysis and documentation
  • Experience with data warehousing
  • Advanced skills in designing solutions that scale and perform for millions of users
  • Advanced skills in developing long-term system architecture strategies
  • Experience with modern software development techniques (e.g., functional programming, microservice architecture, test-driven development, and CI/CD)
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders
  • Able to understand business, customer, and consumer needs to provide appropriate data solutions
  • Able to mentor other engineers in a collaborative agile team environment
  • Passionate about data and the latest data technologies
  • Good awareness of TDD, CI/CD approaches, and tools
