Job Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to oversee financial operations in the US, encompassing accounting functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Produce comprehensive financial models, analyze variances, and identify trends.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and present monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and enhance profitability.

Cash Flow Management and Treasury Functions

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including lines of credit, interest rate management, and FX exposure.

Compliance and Controls

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting policies, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Supervise finance/accounting staff, provide coaching and performance management.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations teams for budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.

Process Improvement and Innovation

  • Identify and implement efficiency initiatives in financial processes and systems.
  • Maintain and upgrade ERP/financial software, standardize workflows, and streamline processes.
