  • System Support Specialist

Job Description:

As a System Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure. This involves monitoring vital server parameters on a regular schedule and reporting any performance issues to the appropriate teams.

You will also be responsible for monitoring scheduled tasks on the system and ensuring that they have been successfully completed. If there are any failures in the tasks, you will rerun them and report any technical errors to the L2 / L3 teams for resolution.

In addition, you will monitor email, Teams channel, and Ticketing system for new items/tickets and update them with initial responses. You will gather more details from business/end user / other teams if required and reproduce the issue in the testing environment to provide inputs to the L2 team member.

Finally, you will validate issue fixes in the internal testing environment based on customer inputs given (issue raised).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system support or similar field.
  • Strong understanding of Java and Scripting technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
