Electrical Engineer Specialist II

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer Specialist II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and updating the Aero lab across different sites, handling test solutions and equipment, and working with various teams to update and review electrical and mechanical needs for different test setups.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of using different lab instruments, strong work experience with cable harness fabrication, detailed knowledge of power used across labs, and ability to plan lab layout for different types of test benches and explore opportunities for lab space optimization.

Responsibilities include planning electrical and mechanical requirements of different labs, supporting deployment of test benches, and ensuring effective collaboration with product teams to understand overall test solution needs.

Requirements include 4+ years of industry experience in lab management, hands-on experience in equipment calibration, testing, and maintenance, diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical engineering, and strong communication skills.

  • Manage and update the Aero lab across different HTS sites.
  • Handle different test solutions and equipment, ensuring they are up-to-date with calibration and certification requirements.
  • Work with different teams across Aero to update and review electrical, mechanical needs for different test setup as per product specification.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge of IPC-A-610 certification, good understanding of competitive landscape, benchmark design and technology trends, and ability to plan lab layout for different types of test benches and explore opportunities for lab space optimization.

  • Plan electrical and Mechanical requirement of different lab across HTS site and support deployment of test benches in lab.
  • Cable fab, Soldering, Lab Equipment Handling, ESD in lab, and good understanding of IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Proactively connect with users and collaborate with product teams to understand the overall test solution needs.
  • Effectively map the competitive landscape, benchmark the design and technology trends.
