Job Title: Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in passenger car body-in-white (BIW) design. They will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve their best work.

Key Responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Passenger Car BIW structure and Assembly
  • Joining techniques of BIW structures
  • Concept generation of components
  • Cost Optimization Ideas on components and assembly
  • In-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) of BIW components
  • Knowledge on materials, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Stack Up
  • Team Center knowledge is a must
  • Understanding project requirements and managing deliverables, including project planning and team handling
  • Coordination with cross-functional teams and suppliers
  • Strong skills with NX surfacing expected
  • Involvement in design reviews and packaging reviews for solutions and quick actions
  • Awareness of prototyping activities and builds
