Chemistry Researcher Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience in research and analytical skills.

The role involves creating chemistry problems, reviewing how the AI solves them, and sharing insights on how well it understands complex reasoning and logical steps. This includes tasks such as calculating equilibrium concentrations, developing reactor models, and analyzing model responses.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:

  • A Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples
  • Strong written communication skills, especially in remote settings
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Stable computer and internet access

This is a contractor assignment/freelancer position that requires a minimum of 4 hours per day and 20 hours per week commitment. The engagement type is contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave) and the duration of the contract is 1 month. Selection process includes task-based assessment for shortlisted candidates followed by a contract offer with defined timelines and workload.

About the Project

This project involves testing the reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs) in chemistry. The goal is to measure how well these models handle abstract thinking and structured problem-solving. As a researcher, you will work on high-impact AI research projects and have the possibility of contract extension based on performance.
