About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ESG Specialist to join our team as we enter the next orbit of growth. The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of a robust ESG framework, integrating sustainability principles across the organization.
This role involves:
- Designing and implementing a comprehensive ESG framework aligned with company mission and business goals;
- Identifying key ESG priorities and setting measurable goals for each;
- Collaborating with investors, regulators, and industry bodies to align on ESG expectations and initiatives;
- Engaging with external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and industry bodies, to communicate company's ESG initiatives;
- Ensuring compliance with applicable ESG-related regulations and standards;
- Assessing and mitigating ESG-related risks across the organization;
- Preparing ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and investor decks highlighting company's ESG performance;
- Developing and maintaining ESG data collection processes and systems;
- Conducting training sessions to educate employees on ESG principles and their relevance to the business;
- Benchmarking against peers to continuously improve company's ESG performance;
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for a highly driven and motivated individual with:
- At least 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related roles, preferably in the financial services or fintech sector;
- A strong understanding of ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and SDGs;
- Ability to motivate and develop a strong team;
- Problem-solving approach;
- Strong business acumen;
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all levels of the organization;
The estimated salary for this role is around ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on your location and experience.
