Sustainability Consultant for Environmental Life Cycle Assessment

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team in environmental Life Cycle Assessment modeling and reporting. As a key member of our Sustainability consulting services team, you will deliver on consulting projects in the area of environmental Life Cycle Assessment, Environmental Product Declarations, Carbon Management, with a focus on metals and mining, agricultural, building & construction, electronics, chemical and Oil & Gas industries.
The primary function of this role is to help clients operate more sustainably by assisting them with corporate sustainability measurement and reporting. This may involve developing sustainability frameworks, standards, strategy, stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment, reporting, data management or other environmental sustainability-oriented projects like carbon management, CSR reporting.
As a Sustainability Consultant, your day-to-day activities may include:
- Delivering and managing multiple concurrent consulting projects addressing corporate sustainability frameworks, standards, strategy, stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment, reporting, data management etc.
- Working with Excel (or other data formats) to manage comprehensive data and data structures
- Performing analysis on energy, water, waste, and emissions
- Preparing and presenting project results in PowerPoint or other formats
- Writing reports and documenting your project work
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering and Master's degree in environmental engineering, science, Energy, Sustainability or related field.
- Experience and functional knowledge in the area of ESG and Corporate Sustainability standards like GRI, CDP, DJSI, TCFD, Science Based Targets, Integrated Reporting etc.
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
- Knowledge and passion for sustainability, environmental systems, and/or climate change
- Strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking
- Good oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate issues, give presentations, and prepare formal written reports
- Self-motivated and organized; able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and to work both independently as well as on teams
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. We also provide opportunities for professional development and career growth.
