Senior Embedded Electronics Specialist

About the Role:
  • We seek a highly skilled Senior Hardware Designer to lead our embedded electronics development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-complexity multilayer layouts for various electronic control units (ECUs).
  • Create PCB layer stack-up designs and implement robust design rules for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ECUs into vehicle systems, ensuring seamless communication protocols and thermal management.
  • Develop and maintain in-house Altium tools and guidelines for efficient schematic capture and PCB layout review processes.
  • Serve as an expert in EMI/EMC design, testing, and troubleshooting, driving solutions to minimize electromagnetic interference.
Requirements:
  • M.Sc. in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Tier 1 automotive or industrial environments, preferably with exposure to system and component design.
  • Strong understanding of EE architecture topologies, safety protocols, and vehicle bus communication standards (ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS).
  • Proficiency in Altium tool usage, with a solid grasp of schematic capture and PCB layout design principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
