The Export Coordination Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of export operations. Their responsibilities include coordinating with sales teams to plan shipments based on customer requirements, preparing and verifying pre/post-export documents, and facilitating shipment movement between manufacturing sites.
Key tasks also involve negotiating freight rates with forwarders, coordinating with transporters and custom brokers, and managing post-shipment documentation. Additionally, the Export Coordination Specialist is responsible for handling customer inquiries, audit-related queries, and preparing management information reports (MIS).
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a graduate degree in any field and a minimum of 2 years' experience in export coordination at an executive level. Effective communication skills are essential for success in this position.
