Production and Manufacturing Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our production and manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production across multiple sites, ensuring seamless execution, cost efficiency, and consistent quality delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge of FMCG food production and co-manufacturing conversion cost models. They will also possess proven experience in production planning, shop floor execution, and performance monitoring.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Production Oversight & Execution">
    • Manage production operations across all sites.">
    • Conduct regular reviews with internal teams and external partners to monitor progress and drive accountability.">
    • Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods aligned to demand plans and customer requirements.">

  • Planning & Coordination">
    • Lead production planning aligned to sales forecasts and capacity availability.">
    • Collaborate with procurement team for material availability and capacity scheduling.">
    • Represent production in key meetings to align goals and report operational performance.">
    ">
  • Quality, Compliance & Documentation">
    • Ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards across all production sites.">
    • Conduct regular inventory checks and validate stock reports.">
    • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.">
    • Ensure complete documentation of production batches and reporting formats as per regulatory and internal requirements.">

  • Packaging & Artwork Coordination">
    • Collaborate with design, marketing, and procurement teams to review and finalize packaging artworks from a manufacturability and compliance lens.">

  • Process Excellence & Strategic Initiatives">
    • Drive continuous improvement in production processes, line efficiency, changeover time, wastages, and material yields.">
    • Support strategic initiatives like capacity expansion, SKU rationalization, or alternate vendor onboarding.">
    • Implement best practices to scale operations with agility while maintaining cost and quality benchmarks.">

  • Stakeholder Management">
    • Act as single point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners on all production, compliance, and accounting matters.">
    • Facilitate proactive communication to ensure alignment between demand, production, supply chain, and procurement teams.">

  • 8-12 years of experience in FMCG/Food Manufacturing, preferably with hands-on experience managing production and quality at external co-manufacturing setups.">
  • Strong domain knowledge of FMCG food production and co-manufacturing conversion cost models.">
  • Proven experience in production planning, shop floor execution, and performance monitoring.">
  • Familiarity with food safety, quality audits, and statutory compliance requirements.">
