Senior Simulation Engineer Role

Are you a skilled simulation expert looking for a challenging position that allows you to leverage your knowledge of finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, and multiphysics simulations? Do you have experience with ANSYS software and want to contribute to the development of cutting-edge engineering designs?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute advanced simulations using ANSYS Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, or other ANSYS modules.
  • Perform structural, thermal, fluid flow, and multiphysics analyses to validate engineering designs, identify areas for improvement, and optimize product performance.
  • Interpret simulation results to provide actionable insights for design improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and integrate simulation findings into design workflows.
  • Create detailed technical reports and presentations of simulation outcomes, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Stay current with advancements in simulation tools, methodologies, and industry best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance simulation efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support prototype testing, troubleshoot engineering challenges using simulation data, and develop strategies for efficient simulation-based design iteration.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience using ANSYS software for engineering simulation, with a strong understanding of FEA, CFD, and multiphysics simulation principles.
  • Experience with pre-processing, meshing, solver setup, and post-processing in ANSYS, as well as knowledge of material properties, boundary conditions, and load cases.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly, both written and verbally.
  • Proficient in using CAD tools and integrating CAD data into simulation workflows.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with scripting and automation within ANSYS (e.g., APDL, Python).
  • Familiarity with other simulation tools (e.g., Abaqus, COMSOL).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication abilities.
