Compliance Officer Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory submissions are made on time and in accordance with the relevant guidelines. This includes coordinating with stakeholders and managing regulatory registers.
  • Another key responsibility of the Compliance Officer is to communicate with regulators as per regulations, including branch data, directorship changes, and levied charges.
  • We are looking for someone who can manage regulatory data effectively, track reconciliations with finance, product teams, and insurers every month, and follow up on gaps identified.
  • The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for maintaining agreements with insurers, SLAs, and commission structures, tracking grievances from the grievance team, insurers, and coordinating resolutions with business, product, and branch teams.
  • Audit initiation and tracking for branches, providing audit checklists, and coordinating resolution will also be part of this role.
  • In addition, the Compliance Officer will conduct compliance checks on AML, provide checklists to the compliance team, and coordinate cases with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience: 4-8 years in a similar domain.
