Key responsibilities include architecting an AI platform for enterprise-wide data pipeline orchestration, ML training, and inferencing servers. The successful candidate will also develop an 'AI App Store' ecosystem to enable R&D teams to host Gen AI applications in the cloud.

  • A high-level understanding of distributed systems is essential, including experience with event-driven software architecture and message brokers such as NATS or Kafka.
  • Expertise in Go and Python programming languages is required, as well as a deep understanding of Linux Kernel, CGroups, namespaces, and Docker.
  • The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in building highly scalable REST APIs and designing complex distributed systems, applying the CAP theorem to real-world scenarios.
  • Prior experience with Kubernetes cluster federation, service meshes like Istio, and AI/ML workflows using PyTorch, ML Flow, AirFlow is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have a strong understanding of statistics, machine learning, and/or deep learning fundamentals, as well as experience working with large datasets and analytic data flows in production environments.

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, is necessary, along with 12+ years of total experience building systems software, enterprise software applications, and microservices.
  • Additional qualifications include expertise in cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL for storing and queuing large sets of data.
  • A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and experimentation is essential for success in this position.
