Job Title: Oracle EBS Administrator

Provide expert-level functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules, with a focus on General Ledger and related environments.

  • Manage the overall health of EBS systems, including R12, Fusion Middleware, and other relevant components.

Pursue a zero-downtime mindset to ensure business continuity and minimize system disruptions.

Migrate from various release levels, automating patch cycles for new releases to maintain optimal performance and security.

Install, upgrade, and configure Oracle/EBS software, including user management, security, and delegation.

  • Implement best practices for installation/decommissioning of EBS applications.

Master cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) installation and configuration, as well as ASM/ACFS implementation skills.

  • Develop strong scripting skills to automate regular DBA administration tasks, enhancing productivity and accuracy.

Utilize advanced backup utilities like RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP, CRSCTL, SRVCTL, Netbackup, and Networker to ensure seamless data recovery and protection.

Patch Oracle Databases (EXACC and Non-EXACC DB) while maintaining optimal performance and data integrity.

Analyze performance tuning requirements in Oracle databases and implement solutions accordingly.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features and technologies in Oracle OEM 12C/13C.

Serve as a customer-facing representative for operational issues and activities, ensuring timely resolutions and exceptional service delivery.

  • Install and configure RAC Servers under Oracle Database and EBS Applications technology.

Excel in query fine-tuning and troubleshooting, resolving complex issues efficiently and effectively.

Establish robust backup and recovery processes for Oracle Databases and EBS Applications.

  • Administer database objects, including tables, clusters, views, procedures, etc.

Analyze the impact of database changes or design changes on overall system performance.

Configure and troubleshoot physical standby databases using Oracle Data Guard Broker.

Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Golden Gate replication components.

Implement backup and recovery strategies for various Oracle database scenarios.

Understand advanced architectures, including Multi-Node, RAC, ASM, EXACC, and GoldenGate.

Be knowledgeable about core support processes and change management, maintaining documentation standards.

Main responsibilities include:

Able to work effectively under pressure, resolve complex production issues, and provide support when required;
