The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated software engineer to migrate our legacy system to a modern architecture using cloud-native technologies.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and re-implement critical integrations as resilient, scalable, and cloud-native services.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work from development to production and understands the end-to-end architecture.

Technologies we use: Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, NodeJs, Microservices, GraphQL, React, Javascript, GCP

Your Responsibilities

• Design & Develop: Architect, build, and maintain high-performance microservices.

• System Migration: Analyze existing code that integrates with our platform, understand its business logic, and lead its migration to the new cloud-native stack.

• Cloud-Native Solutions: Build and deploy services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

• Code Quality & Deployment: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Own the entire development lifecycle, demonstrating confidence in taking features to production through a robust CI/CD pipeline.

• System Analysis: Go beyond the user story to develop a deep understanding of the entire system, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level systems.

• Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.

• Professional experience with .NET (C#), with a demonstrated ability to read, understand, and reverse-engineer legacy codebases.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically with services like Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Spanner, and/or Firestore.

• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design patterns.

• Proven experience working with message brokers and event streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub).

• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
