Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support and maintenance for the Enterprise Vault (EV) environment. This includes performing daily health checks, monitoring archival processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily health checks of mail & file archival infrastructure, SMTP journaling, replication, and index backlog.
  • Monitor and manage archival tasks, pending queues, and storage status.
  • Conduct routine tasks such as archival task runs, PST imports, and archive access assignments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to indexing, archival links, and mail retrieval failures.
  • Manage disk capacity utilization, perform disaster recovery (DR) drills, and support infrastructure upgrades.
  • Install and maintain mail & file archival servers within the EV infrastructure.
  • Provide technical plans of action (POA) for change tasks related to EV.
  • Support version upgrades, service pack installations, and new technology rollouts as needed.
  • Ensure compliance tasks such as DA search requests, access control, and data exports.
  • Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Dell, Lenovo) for issue resolution and support requests.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Enterprise Vault (EV) administration and support.
  • Hands-on expertise in email and file archival management.
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Office 365 (Outlook, Teams), and storage solutions (Isilon, NetApp).
  • Familiarity with SQL patching, VMware ESXi upgrades, and IT asset management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in EV infrastructure components.
  • Ability to manage incidents based on severity levels (S1-S4) and adhere to SLA response times.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills (monthly reports, archival coverage, compliance tasks).
