Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and security, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in large-scale data ingestion, integration, ETL, or security engineering. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand and implement data security and management solutions, continuously improving security and observability telemetry services, and defining and managing data models, schemas, metadata, and security rules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in data engineering, security engineering, or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of globally distributed environments and multiple platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Strong understanding of data management and data engineering principles
  • Experience with Agile methods, Atlassian stack (JIRA), and related tools
  • Ability to develop roadmaps and strategies for data-centric products and services
  • Experience with standard monitoring frameworks and observability products
  • Expertise in SIEM solutions and cloud-based data sources
  • Experience with security monitoring and observability solutions such as Splunk, Sumo, Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics
  • Scripting language expertise (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Systems configuration orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Infrastructure as a code concepts
  • Related security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, ITIL)
