Job Title: Information Security Architect Leader

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect Leader to join our team at Recro. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure systems, leading security architecture reviews, and collaborating with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise in cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards, as well as excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of cybersecurity architecture and strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Create architectural blueprints and documentation for secure systems, including network diagrams, data flow diagrams, and security controls.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and integrate security measures into the overall IT architecture.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate security technologies, tools, and solutions to address cybersecurity risks and threats.
  • Design and implement security controls for identity and access management, encryption, data protection, and threat detection and response.
  • Conduct security reviews and risk assessments of technology projects and systems, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Mentor and train junior members of the cybersecurity team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience of 10+ years as a Cybersecurity Architect, Security Consultant, or similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing secure systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT).
  • Experience with cloud security architecture, including designing security controls for cloud environments.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
